The All Arts Council Summer Sounds has been Franklin County's premiere outdoor concert series for a quarter century. Be there or be square.

This is the 25th anniversary of our Summer Sounds concert series so we're having a Benefit Festival with continuous music on Sunday, September 20, the last Sunday of summer.
Highgate was the original home of Summer Sounds and we're having this bonanza in part to say "thank you!" The festival raise money to build a band shell in Highgate for the next 25 years of music and anything "extra" will go to Camp Ta-Kum-Ta.
Lots of other volunteers are involved including our hosts over the years to provide food. Tim-Kath Productions will run two stages of sound for us. But we need more volunteers!
      Are you interested in
Postering northern Vermont?
Running the Gate?
Herding the food booths?
Park setup the morning of the show?
How about park cleanup the day after?

Email the All Arts Council and we'll hook you right up!
The music lineup is eclectic, drawn from our favorite headliners who played the series in the beginning. Watch this space for updates. Scroll down for a look and check out the posters and other goodies.

The 2015 Summer Sounds series wraps up with a
big, blowout, benefit, bonanza
concert to celebrate a quarter century of Sounds
with many of our favorite acts!

The 25th anniversary Benefit Concert will have raffles, 50-50s, games, and family activities. Watch this space for updates about a bounce house, dunking booth (yes, Dick Harper will be there), and more.
"Free" concerts are expensive to stage. The host towns, local business sponsors, and the All Arts Council hire the bands, create the publicity, and set up shows every summer weekend. Summer Sounds welcomes our sponsors of this popular series: Chevalier Drilling, Desorcie's Market, Drummac Septic Service, O. C. McCuin & Sons, and Ray's Extrusion Dies. These businesses need your support to continue. Please remember to thank the hosts and patronize the sponsors.

Besides the music, food is a big part of the fun of an outdoor concert. Local community groups will host the 25th anniversary Benefit Concert with special activities, family fun, desserts, grilled dogs, and even ice cream and cake, to make this Sunday a great family holiday in the park.
Summer Sounds concerts are always in a Town park, and always on Sundays. The concert site for this event is the Franklin County Field Days site in Highgate. There are great buildings so we go shine or rain.
