The Red Barn Studio and Gallery in Montgomery begins the 2004 season on Saturday with an exhibit of watercolors, acrylics, oils, stained glass, mosaic and photography by area artists. A vernissage will take place on Sunday, 2 - 5 p.m. at the gallery. Michael Domina
Watercolor Workshops
AAC member, native Vermonter, and Red Barn artist-in-residence Michael Domina will again offer watercolor workshops in July and September. His three-day workshops focus on impressionistic subjects on location. Some watercolor background is helpful, but not necessary. A member of the New England Watercolor Society, Mr. Domina demonstrates and offers individual instruction and critique.
VISIONS of VERMONT (July 22 - 24)--Paint on location in Montgomery, VT. Discover the quaint cow paths and rustic views of this country village. Critique and review of all completed or works in progress at 3 p.m. each day. This three-day workshop costs $150. A 50% deposit is due by July 1 to reserve space in the workshop.
EARLY LEAF SEASON in VT (Sept 16 - 18)--Paint the beautiful foliage on location in Montgomery, VT, with its charming country farms and covered bridges. Critique and review of all completed or works in progress at 3 p.m. each day. This three-day workshop costs $150. A 50% deposit is due by August 15 to reserve space in the workshop.
